North Bay Resources is now positioned to advance the project to the next phase of development. Previous work on the property was hampered by historical challenges such as economic downturns and operational disruptions, but with modern mining techniques and renewed interest in the site, we are confident that this acquisition represents a major opportunity to unlock the mine’s true potential.

The Taber Mine is located in close proximity to the Melones Fault, a geological feature known for hosting some of the richest gold deposits in the Mother Lode region. Neighboring mines have produced gold nuggets as large as 90 ounces, highlighting the potential for significant discoveries in the back channel. Initial exploration and geological studies suggest that the remaining gold reserves could be substantial. North Bay Resources aims to prioritize the development of the back channel, where inferred resources have been calculated based on historical production data from adjacent properties.
The Taber Mine is located in Sierra County, California, within the historic Gibsonville mining district near the western slope of the Sierra Nevada mountain range.

We have secured all necessary permits, including a Limited Threat Discharge Permit from the California Water Quality Control Board and a Plan of Operations with the U.S. Forest Service. These approvals, alongside a positive environmental track record, ensure the project can proceed without significant environmental constraints.
The terrain is characterized by rugged, forested mountains with elevations ranging from 5,300 to over 6,000 feet, featuring steep ridges, ancient river channels, and a mix of pine, cedar, and fir trees.
